The new Sui 8192 Web3 game has attracted 258 million in transactions on the Sui blockchain over the past 24 hours.

The game software changes the state of the game object when a user matches two like tiles on a grid. Each match accrues points. The game ends after the user earns 8192 points.

Ethos Sui 8192 Allows Games to Be Minted as NFTs

Upon completion, the game is minted on the blockchain as a non-fungible token (NFT). Sui wallet maker Ethos created the game to attract interest in Web3.

In addition to Sui 8192, Sui also hosts notable, like the high fantasy action titles like Abyss World, Cosmocadia, and Orange Comet.

Former Meta employees developed Sui and its Move language. Unlike first-generation blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum, Sui can process transactions in parallel instead of sorting them into an ordered list within blocks.

Additionally, Sui 8192 players can decide in advance how much they want to spend to avoid gas fee shocks.

Poor Gameplay Handicapped Earlier Web3 Games

A poor user experience, a lack of compelling narrative, and previously unsustainable game economics had previously failed to capture gamers’ attention.

Play-to-Earn game Axie Infinity became popular during the 2021 bull market but hadn’t developed a sustainable in-game economy. Zilliqa’s Web3 Hub, originally slated for release on a console, is available online.

To combat falling interest, gaming heavy-weight Ubisoft recently unveiled a new strategy game that runs on the blockchain. Sega also announced last month that it would be launching a brand new Web3 game. It also intended porting an existing title to the blockchain.

While Microsoft’s pursuit of Call of Duty developer Activision Blizzard centered around the former’s metaverse business, waning interest in Web3 may see more cooperation around distributed computing and artificial intelligence.
