The Sneaky Vampire Syndicate is a non-fungible token (NFT) club much like the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club.

One of the artists behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection has started another NFT club named the Sneaky Vampire Syndicate. The vampire-themed NFT releases are looking to capitalize on not only the NFT rush but also the popularity of the BAYC collection that has seen values skyrocket.

According to a press release, digital artist Migwashere create the Sneaky Vampire Syndicate with hand-drawn art to be sold as NFTs. The project will allow for the public to mint 8,888 NFTs over the next couple of weeks for the cost of 0.08 ETH, around $300 at the time of press.

The NFTs will be tokenized as ERC-721s just like the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection. Some of the BAYC collections have sold for millions of dollars. So far, the Sneaky Vampire Syndicate’s Discord server had attracted more than 25,000 followers in less than a week.

In a post on Discord, Migwashere says that “I am very excited to be part of such a motivated and experienced team and I hope everyone enjoys the art I’ve created.”

More than just an NFT collection

On top of the NFT collection, the team behind the project is developing a 2D side-scrolling fighting game that pits NFTs head to head with each other. The game is under development by indy game studio Static City Games and said that only the owners of the NFTs will be allowed to play. The game will have an infinite increase in difficulty over time and include leaderboards for players to keep an eye on.

Players in the game will team up to defeat teams of vampire hunters along with fellow undead characters like zombies. Players can bite opponents to steal life from opponents as well.

Additionally, the team has pledged to give free NFTs to owners once the project hits 25%. The additional NFTs are being called ‘companions’ and will be in the form of bats. No word on how this will affect the gameplay of the 2D fighter. This is similar to how the BAYC added dogs and other accessories to its collections.
