Job Summary
What you'll be doing
šTaking ownership of our AWS infastructure, ensuring best-practices are followed with regards to security, deployments, monitoring etc šBeing responsible for our regular compliance and pentest checks šSupporting product engineering teams with GitLab CI pipelines and deployments šBeing an internal consultant for new projects that require best-in-class security, performance and reliability šTaking ownership of our Terraform IaaC modules for deploying to and managing our infrastructure hosted in AWS šSupporting the management of our data warehouse šTaking responsibility for enforcing the highest privacy and security standards at Notabene
What you'll bring
š10+ years working in DevOps / Infrastructure šDeep understanding of AWS services, GitLab CI Pipelines, Docker, Linux šAdvanced networking knowledge e.g. TCP/IP, load balancing šExperience designing and deploying highly available global solutions e.g. scaling, failovers, regional backups, serverless šExperience rolling out advanced monitoring/observability e.g. Datadog, distributed tracing, uptime/SLO tracking šStrong experience working with IaaC to provision and deploy infrastructure (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef) šExcellent written and oral English communication skills šGreat project management and an ability to coordinate and deliver cross-functional projects šPractical experience working in a fully-remote team. This role is for GMT-5 to GMT+3.
