Job Summary

What we’re looking for:

📍3+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar. 📍Strong understanding of containerisation, building and maintaining Kubernetes-based deployment platforms. 📍Hands-on experience with source control platforms like GitHub. 📍Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (ideally Google Cloud Platform). 📍Skilled in CI/CD principles and practices (ideally ArgoCD/Codefresh/GitHub Actions) and a good understanding of GitOps. 📍Good understanding of observability and practical application with monitoring tools (ideally Datadog and open telemetry). 📍Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform. 📍Understanding of distributed systems and database architecture: scaling, fault-tolerance, load-balancing, networking, security. 📍Good scripting skills e.g. bash, python 📍Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. 📍Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, focusing on solving the right problem at the right time. 📍You take pride in providing the platform our products run on and share your unique perspective.

📍Service Maintenance: Keep our services running smoothly by addressing and resolving any issues promptly. 📍Problem Research: Proactively research new problems and develop innovative solutions to tackle them effectively. 📍Tool Development: Build and maintain tools that streamline our processes and enhance overall efficiency. 📍Incident Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability. 📍Engineering Support: Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Proactively seek opportunities to improve the developer experience
