Job Summary

What does a day in the life as a Business Development Representative look like?

📍Responds promptly and professionally to all new business opportunities inquiries via phone, email, or chat 📍Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within targeted markets and industries 📍Generate high-quality leads through various channels, including cold calling, email, social media and other networking events and platforms 📍Evaluate leads and opportunities to determine their fit with the organization’s target client and ensure they meet minimum criteria 📍Initiate and maintain meaningful conversations with potential clients to understand their needs, challenges and objectives 📍Conduct in-depth research to create a solid understanding of the organization’s products/services and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients 📍Foster a collaborative environment with clients showcasing partnership, communication and engaging conversations on a frequent basis 📍Accurately track and manage sales activities, leads and opportunities in CRM software 📍Adheres to company policies and procedures 📍Meets or exceeds performance targets for related KPI’s Continuously improves knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules 📍Collaborates with other departments as needed Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times 📍Performs other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications for a Business Development Representative?

📍At least 6 months of experience in a sales, business development representative, or equivalent, preferably in a call center/BPO industry 📍Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written 📍Strong negotiation skills 📍Proficient in using computers and various software applications
