Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

šŸ“Provide outstanding service for employees and managers during the leave process to ensure a positive and informed experience. Respond timely and accurately to leave related questions received through e-mail, phone and face-to-face interactions. šŸ“Promptly respond to inquiries submitted by the third-party leave administrator and disability claims carrier. šŸ“Serve as liaison between third-party leave administrator, Legal, and HR Business Partners, addressing and resolving all stakeholder concerns. šŸ“Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave statutes by staying informed on relevant legislation and new regulations. šŸ“Proactively and continuously identify, recommend, and implement leave process improvements. šŸ“Assist, advise, and counsel employees and dependents on day-to-day health and welfare benefit-related questions (via e-mail, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions). šŸ“Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to: šŸ“Health and welfare benefits and retirement plan administration šŸ“Company wellness initiatives and employee services šŸ“Workers’ compensation administration

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

šŸ“Bachelor’s degree šŸ“2+ years of human resources experience in benefits administration, leave administration, or workers’ compensation

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

šŸ“Human Resources certification (PHR) and professional Human Resources affiliations šŸ“Ability to use independent judgment and prioritize work šŸ“Demonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environment šŸ“Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills šŸ“Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel šŸ“Attention to detail and commitment to quality šŸ“Highly collaborative style and strong team orientation šŸ“Highly organized with ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment šŸ“Bilingual in Spanish and English
