Responsibilities:

📍Oversee and manage the general ledger, revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, and expense process 📍Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including consolidations, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency 📍Prepare and review financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, for accuracy and completeness 📍Support tax preparation and filings 📍Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements 📍Evaluate and improve accounting systems, workflows, and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy 📍Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and scalability 📍Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions to support audit and tax compliance activities 📍Conduct financial analysis and provide ad-hoc reporting and support as needed to inform decision-making and drive business growth

Qualifications:

📍Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred 📍5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting or auditing 📍Strong understanding of GAAP principles and experience in applying them to complex accounting transactions 📍Knowledge of NFTs, blockchain technology, digital assets subledger and digital asset markets is desirable 📍Proven track record of managing accounting operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring regulatory compliance 📍Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
