Justin Sun Promotes TRON Via Coronavirus Outbreak

Justin Sun is at it again shilling TRON (TRX), except this time exploiting the tragedy surrounding the outbreak of the coronavirus. Sun took to Twitter recently to say that he was ‘fighting coronavirus‘ and that ‘#TRON is on the way!’

Not the Time for TRX

The tweet has earned Sun widespread ridicule since apparently no time appears to be an inappropriate one to shill TRX. Many pointed out how the tweet was just plain shameless.

Sun also put out another tweet in which he claims that he was “stockpiling medical supplies to support Wuhan.” The associated video shows Sun stacking a bunch of random boxes and then turning to the camera. Many commented on how blatantly staged it was. Although Sun usually finds a way to force TRON (TRX) into every conversation, this week was especially flagrant. The attempt at exploiting the coronavirus tragedy to promote TRX mirrors how Sun also recently used Kobe Bryant’s death to the same effect just days ago. In a tweet, Sun claimed that he’ll have a “moment of silence in your honor” during the upcoming niTROn conference this year. The tweet garnered widespread criticism and mockery for its shameless self-promotion.

Burning Bridges

None of this is new for Sun, but it does further prove his complete moral bankruptcy. Not only does Sun peddle any tragedy for his own benefit, but he seems to have no qualms about it. Sun has never responded to criticism over his ‘marketing’ efforts, but instead seems to blatantly ignore all of them. As a result, many have spoken out again him. Just recently, Digibute (DGB) founder Jared Tate called Sun a ‘sleazy con artist.’  Sun will likely not change his ways, and this shameless self-promotion will undoubtedly continue for as long as TRON (TRX) remains a top cryptocurrency. However, the growing voices of criticism indicate that this likely can’t go on for much longer.
