Shilpa Lama

Shilpa has been part of the BeInCrypto newsroom for more than six years and currently serves as an editor responsible for Learn, the platform’s educational section. Her work spans regulation, market structure, security themes, product evaluation, as well as the broader social impact of digital assets across several market cycles. She is a highly experienced crypto and tech journalist and writer with a strong focus on AI and pro-freedom technologies such as distributed ledgers and cryptocurrencies. Her domain expertise in these areas gives her authority in coverage that requires precision, context, and a firm grasp of the underlying technology. Shilpa holds a degree in Electronic Science from Gauhati University and an MBA. Before her ongoing stint in crypto media, she worked with StartUp Bahrain, a national initiative backed by Bahrain’s public and private sectors, where she covered the MENA region's emerging fintech ecosystem. She later contributed to the Apache Software Foundation as a technical writer, an experience that further sparked her interest in open digital infrastructure.
