Presidential hopeful Senator Joe Biden took an opportunistic chance to raise money from the recent Twitter scam.
His Twitter feed included a snarky request for donations from anyone who wants to keep ‘Donald Trump a one-term President:’ Ironically, Biden’s Twitter account had been hacked the day before in what has become the largest security breach in the company’s history. The tweet also included an interesting phrase, as Biden explicitly states that he ‘doesn’t own any Bitcoin.’ Furthermore, he refuses to take donations in Bitcoin, and will never ask for any. Some Twitter users found this humorous and the took the opportunity to throw a few jabs. Others responded by mocking Biden’s reputation of being a bit scatterbrained: Overall, the general tenor of the replies simply enforced the polarization of American voters. Most feel very strongly either for or against Biden, with little movement either way.
