- Tell us about yourself and Layer One X company. Where are you from?
Hi my name is Matiu and I am the Chief Operating Officer of Layer One X. Like a large portion of the Layer One X team I am based in Perth, Australia ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ
Layer One X is a new layer1 blockchain that solves problems faced by other blockchains, such as high costs, slow processing ๐centralized control and limited connections with other blockchains.

- On your website, I read that Layer One X is the world’s fastest interoperable blockchain. Can you please explain to our audience what it means? In our community, there are many newbies in crypto.
Great question. Firstly Layer One X is a layer 1 blockchain and when we talk about blockchains we talk about the โlayer1โ infrastructure that all crypto projects are built on.

Kevin Coutinho is the Founder of Layer One X โ Kevin started programming at the age of 8 and has been a constant contributor to the open-source developer community. He has always been obsessed about how to take technology, however complicated it is and make it practical for everyday use. It was this vision that built Layer One X on the foundational principles of Decentralization, Interoperability, Security, and Scalability.
Dr. Ponnie Clark, is an expert in AI and blockchain technology and is the head of Blockchain at the University of Western Australia.
