Are you on the lookout for the best cryptocurrency CFD broker out there? Or perhaps an online trading platform offering CFDs on a diverse range of asset classes?

Well, you have just landed on the right corner of the web, if so. Because, we are about to start a review-series featuring some of the world’s most popular brokers offering online CFD trading in cryptocurrencies, forex, stocks, and commodities, among other asset classes

Let’s start this series with an in-depth review of ROInvesting, a licensed brokerage house that touts itself as “your tech-powered pathway to the vigorous and ever-expanding world of online CFD trading.”

We hope by the time you’re done reading this review, you’ll have a much clearer idea about the platform.

What is ROInvesting?

ROInvesting is an STP brokerage platform owned by Royal Forex Ltd. It was launched in 2017 in Cyprus and has since established itself as a popular destination for online CFD trading. As of today, ROInvesting appears to have a sizable user-base from around the world, particularly the EU region.

ROInvesting is licensed and regulated by CySEC, the financial regulatory agency of Cyprus. This enables the platform to offer brokerage accounts to retail and professional traders across European Union member states.

Because it follows the STP, or Straight Through Processing model, ROInvesting doesn’t operate via a dealing desk. Instead, it passes all your orders to a suitable liquidity provider.

Among other things, this also means that while ROInvesting should be is technically neutral on the profitability of your trades, they would rather see you making profits since an STP broker needs their clients to continue trading in order to stay in the business.

Over the past three years, ROInvesting has won several industry awards including last year’s “Best CFD Broker Europe 2020” honor from Brokercheck.es, as well as the Best Forex Broker CFDs in 2020 title from FXDailyinfo.com.

Besides these feats, ROInvesting added more to its charm by becoming an official partner of the popular football club AC Milan in April 2020.

All these factors combined, credibility shouldn’t be an issue if you’re considering trying out the platform.

Online CFD Trading on ROInvesting: Who is it for?

A closer look at ROInvesting’s user-base gives the impression that its popularity is not confined to traders of any particular experience level. The trading terminals come equipped with an array of features that makes them accessible for newbies and experienced users alike.

Being a relatively new entrant into the competition, ROInvesting seems to be focusing particularly on onboarding retail traders with limited exposure to the market. The wide range of educational content available on the platform reflects that approach.

For pro-traders, meanwhile, the relatively lower fee structure is a big advantage. Besides that, there are just enough resources including custom charting tools, indicators, trade types, and access to expert opinion, to give them the ideal avenue for seamlessly executing their trading strategies. More on that later.

Bitcoin BTC ETF

As for the geographical reach of ROInvesting, the platform is meant primarily for EU users given that the CySEC license requires the company to fine-tune its offerings for the region in accordance with EU Regulation, MIFID II.

Because of these factors, if you are a user from a non-EU country — say India, Mexico, or the US — you will likely have to find a ROInvesting alternative that operates in your country.

[Supported countries include, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK.]

Getting Started on ROInvesting

The ROInvesting trading terminal is available as a web app (Webtrader), as well as on mobile (compatible with both Android and iOS).

For starters, ROInvesting offers three types of trading accounts including Silver, Gold, and Platinum. There is also a fourth account-type for professional traders. But, you have to apply for this membership.

As you would imagine, the professional trading account costs extra and comes with added perks such as different leverages on all CFD instruments, trading flexibility, dedicated customer support, and premium access to loyalty programs, among others.

The minimum deposit allowed is $250. You can deposit using any of the following commonly used payment methods: Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, SafeCharge, DECTA, Payvision, INPAY, Trustly, and Paysafe, among others.

The registration procedure, while simple, can be slightly time-consuming and somewhat pesky because of the stringent verification processes. You have to fill in all necessary info and submit proof of identity and proof of residence. This is expected, however, given that the company is regulated and has to abide by the rules mandated by the CySEC.

Usually, it may take up to two business days for the company to verify your details and approve your trading account.

To withdraw funds from your ROInvesting account, you simply have to submit a withdrawal request from your user-dashboard. The amount will be transferred to your initially chosen deposit method.

However, the process can sometimes take several days to complete due to stringent anti-fraud regulatory mechanisms, such a situation may happen if, for example, the company needs additional documents from the client.

Based on user feedback and reviews, though, it appears that the majority of withdrawal requests are handled within one business day on average. The fee structure is usually very transparent and has been detailed here.

Dedicated Account Managers

All Gold and Platinum account holders are provided with their own dedicated account managers. This is to ensure quick and efficient customer service because a dedicated account manager will be already familiar with you and your account, which then gives them the ability to promptly address your queries and grievances.

Discounted Swaps and Spreads

As you upgrade your account from Silver to Gold (or Gold to Platinum), you become eligible to receive hefty discounts on the spreads for all instruments. Additionally, you also get a 25% discount on overnight swaps as a Gold member. This discount then goes up to 50% as you switch to Platinum membership.

Webinars and Educational Content

ROInvesting regularly hosts webinars and publishes video content discussing topics such as trading strategies, indicators, hedging, and other relevant issues. However, you have to be a Gold or Platinum member to access these.

The ROInvesting website also hosts an extensive library or trading, CFDs, and general crypto-related information in various formats including articles, ebooks, and periodic reports, just to name a few. This library is available to all users.

MetaTader 4

ROInvesting’s trading terminals are powered by MetaTrader 4 (MT4), one of the world’s most advanced and popular electronic trading platforms. MT4 brings you perks such as 30 built-in fundamental and technical indicators (e.g. MA and Fibonacci retracements etc.), charting tools, fast execution of trades, and a variety of trading modes.

Trading Signals and Tools

ROInvesting offers a few handy research and analysis tools such as the Expiration and Earnings Calendar, the Economic Calendar, a native news feed, as well as real-time trading signals from FCA-regulated research firm SignalCenter.

Is ROInvesting Safe and Reliable?

For user security, ROInvesting deploys Firewalls and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryptions across all its online platforms. As for data security and integrity, the company claims to have all its servers stored in data centers with Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) compliance.
