While Meta plans to release these features gradually for advertisers, it is in trouble in Australia for allegedly hosting fake crypto ads. The Australian businessman Andrew Forrest has dragged Meta to court, claiming that crypto ads in the platform featured him without his permission.
Forrest claims that the company did not take down ads despite repeated requests.
The Big AI Expansion
As Artificial Intelligence makes headlines this year, Meta is aggressive about its AI expansion. In September, BeInCrypto reported that the company launched a new conversational chatbot — Meta AI.
Meta claims that the chatbot has multiple personalities and can chat like 28 different celebrities and influencers. However, experts have raised concerns over the chatbot’s impact on users’ privacy.

Nonetheless, some users have found that Meta AI is not useful to them. An X (Twitter) user shared screenshots of its experience with Meta AI and wrote:
“Meta AI is useless apparently”
