The Neuralink (NLINK) crypto token has surged 3,400% following the successful implant of Elon Musk’s Neuralink device. The price of the asset increased to $0.0000000000003508 as the new device undergoes its first human trial.

The token surged just after Musk announced that the recipient of the first implant was doing well. The NLINK token currently has no affiliation to Elon Musk and is just another memecoin.

Elon Musk Crypto Used in Futuristic Technology

The NLINK token started in 2018 to merge cryptocurrencies with futuristic technologies. It has a finite supply of 420 quadrillions and has been used to manage electric vehicle charging and carbon emissions through blockchain infrastructure. The token has a market capitalization of $176,053 and conforms to BNB Chain’s BEP20 token standard.

Despite sharing a name with it, there is no word on whether the token has an official role in Musk’s latest project. The token was last used in a decentralized autonomous organization to commercialize electric vehicle infrastructure.

Neuralink is a chip that links a brain and a computer to help disabled people use their limbs. It is the modern equivalent of a clicker setup theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking used to speak, Musk tweeted.

“Initial users will be those who have lost the use of their limbs. Imagine if Stephen Hawking could communicate faster than a speed typist or auctioneer. That is the goal,” Musk added.

Neuralink and a computer exchange data wirelessly. At the trial stage, brain-computer interface specialist Andrew Jackson said the electronics were advanced but the neuroscience basic.

“This is solid engineering but mediocre neuroscience,” Jackson stated.

Musk Cements Crypto Immortality With DOGE

Musk has been enshrined in the lore of more than one cryptocurrency. His tweets about Dogecoin, a memecoin developed by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, have generally been price catalysts.
