The Use of Artificial Intelligence in BeInCrypto's Journalism

BeInCrypto uses artificial intelligence as an editorial tool. This statement explains how, and what that means for our journalism.

Our governing principle

Editorial responsibility at BeInCrypto rests with named human journalists and editors. Every piece we publish is owned by a person, not a system. Our standards for accuracy, fairness, sourcing, and independence apply in full regardless of whether AI tools played a role in production.

How AI is used

We use AI to support the work of our editorial team — not to replace it. That support includes research assistance, drafting and editing, headline optimisation, translation, and production tasks such as audio formatting.

The extent of AI involvement is calibrated to the nature of the work. For investigative reporting, analysis, opinion, and any coverage involving contested facts or named individuals, AI plays a limited supporting role; our journalists author and own the substance. For structured or data-driven content (certain market summaries, price updates, translated articles) AI may contribute to a first draft, but no such piece is published without review, verification, and approval by an editor who takes full editorial responsibility for the published content, regardless of the degree of AI involvement in drafting.

Translation

BeInCrypto publishes in 26 languages. AI-assisted translation, through our DeepPress pipeline, is how we make journalism available across them. Translations are based on articles that have already undergone full human editorial review in their original language. Local editorial teams review translated content in each market. Errors in translated articles can be reported via our contact form.
