Ananda Banerjee

Ananda Banerjee is the Senior On-Chain and Technical Analyst at BeInCrypto, where he blends trading expertise with multi-chain on-chain intelligence to track smart-money behavior and whale flows around major market events. He developed a key internal IP for real-time whale detection and builds custom dashboards, including his proprietary Profit Flow Index, which maps market sentiment and selling patterns. His work has produced some of BeInCrypto’s most-read news stories for two consecutive months to date. Before joining BeInCrypto’s global newsroom, Ananda created advanced DeFi and blockchain-metrics explainers for the LEARN team. He previously worked as a trading analyst and newsroom journalist at CoinSwitch, India’s largest crypto exchange, where he hosted several trading shows and appeared on-camera to explain ZK-rollups as part of CoinSwitch’s education initiatives. He later led global social media strategy at Avocado Guild (GameFi), working with Brendan Wong and hosting him on the guild’s podcast. His interview work includes Martin Coxall (BSV ecosystem) at DATE 2023 event, where he represented BIC and Vikas Pandey (ShipFinex) and investor Mario Nawfal at the FinTech Festival. Ananda is an NSE-certified cryptocurrency trader, holds an M.Tech and B.Tech in Telecommunications Engineering from WBUT, contributed to the early drafting of the Mono Money (BEP-20) whitepaper. He also currently supports the Imperator (Hyperliquid Validator) research team by helping expand analytical understanding of the Hyperliquid ecosystem, including its validator and RPC infrastructure.
