Apex Legends is taking a significant step to improving the gameplay of its users, as a new feature is set to launch to the delight of everyone.
Nab a Friend and Suit up
The popular game announced on Twitter that it would be bringing the Duos Mode to its main battle royale platform next month, thus providing an expanded option of playing modes. While the Duos Mode is set to be available for just a limited time and Apex Legends didn’t give specifics about its rollout, it will undoubtedly be a welcome development from the game. Up until now, players have had to choose between going solo or playing with complete squads of three players. Now, you don’t need to get two gaming friends to back you up as you enjoy the gaming world; call on one, and you’re ready to go. The development signifies a further bit of a switch from the norm, as Respawn has stuck to its three-player guns despite multiple calls from players to add the Solo and Duos Modes. Players have complained about the challenge of enjoying the game when they need to team up with strangers over the Internet, as the challenging battle royale climate tends to erode the enjoyment gotten from playing the game.Starting next week, for a limited time, it takes ✌.

Content Problems Linger
Apex Legends was tapped to be the one to knock Fortnite off its perch when it was released. However, a consistent lack of content affected the game, and given the lack of solo and duos playing modes, players began to jump ship. This led to the popularity of names such as Fortnite, League of Legends, CS: GO on streaming platforms like Twitch. So, Respawn finally listened. On August 16, the Apex Legends announced that it would be bringing in the solo game mode, bringing a “winner take all” twist to the classic battle royale platform. Users began to grow once more, and now that the duos mode has been activated as well, it is expected that the live gameplay will significantly increase. However, it is also significant to note that content issues still prevail. Fortnite debuted a new season earlier this month, altogether redefining the gameplay and throwing a bunch of new features as well. Its content diversity is a contrast to that of Apex Legends, and if Respawn wants its offering to live up to its “Fortnite killer” billing, it will need to address that too.
