What is AmazeWallet?

amazewallet cover

AmazeWallet is an all-in-one crypto wallet that supports over 60 blockchains, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Avalanche. It is available on iOS and Android and serves as a versatile tool that merges various features into a single platform.

This digital wallet allows users to securely store and manage their digital assets, including cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). But it’s more than just a wallet — it also serves as a gateway to cryptocurrency exchanges, a marketplace for NFTs, an encrypted messaging platform, a browser for decentralized applications (DApps), and a news feed for all things crypto.

AmazeWallet powers the AmazeChain blockchain. It stands out for its ability to handle over a million transactions per second while maintaining top-notch security. Furthermore, users can contribute to the validation of transactions right from their mobile devices, earning AmazeToken (AMT) for their minimal resource contributions.

Matthew Peters, the marketing director of AmazeWallet, believes this new technology will unlock a new user experience,

“AmazeWallet has arrived at a significant juncture in the evolution of web3 technology. We have reached a level of application that unlocks enhanced end-user experiences in alignment with real-world expectations of mobile apps.”

And he believes that the team behind AmazeWallet is taking steps where no others are yet to go. Peters continues:

“At AmazeWallet, we are pioneering this evolution. Our smartwallet seamlessly integrates the best of web3, offering personalised features and new levels of access in one familiar mobile app. Mine tokens, engage in DeFi, trade, chat and play, do all the things we love and be rewarded. AmazeWallet really is a smarter way to engage in digital life.”

AmazeWallet team

A talented and diverse team of more than 75 professionals spread across the globe drives the AmazeWallet project, assisted by over 400 coding contributors. This team primarily consists of tech-savvy individuals, including marketers and developers with a solid understanding of web3 technologies.

Team: AmazeWallet

Many team members have had previous experience working with top tech companies like Dell, Amazon, and Tencent, which positions them uniquely to create apps and software that users find enjoyable and easy to use.

The leading architect of AmazeChain, known as Jay, is a well-respected cybersecurity expert and was an early contributor to Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, in line with many individuals in the crypto space, he prefers to maintain his anonymity.

The team is highly active on social media platforms and open-source code-sharing sites, including Twitter, Discord, and GitHub.

AmazeWallet security

The Amazewallet team is committed to user security. It has implemented multiple protective measures, including full self-custody of private keys, advanced encryption methods, and multi-factor authentication.

Here’re the top security features of AmazeWallet:

  • Self-custody of private keys. Users fully control their encrypted private keys, which are stored only on the user’s phone.
  • Encrypted and separated data. AmazeWallet encrypts and isolates all app data, ensuring sensitive information remains secure from unauthorized access.
  • Multi-factor authentication. Extra security layers include Google Authenticator, face ID, secure login, phone authentication, and email verification.
  • Advanced data encryption. AmazeWallet uses encryption methods stronger than the common SHA256 and is resistant to quantum computing attacks.
  • Zk-SNARKs for privacy. This cryptography technique is used for encrypting transactions, ensuring anonymity.
  • Distributed validation mechanism. All transactions are verified quickly and efficiently using sharding, ensuring security and scalability.

As of June 2023, the AmazeWallet team is still developing the following security features:

  • Multi-chain data storage. In the future, specific data will be stored across multiple chains for extra safety.
  • Cold Wallet. The team is working on a feature to allow offline transactions for better security against remote attacks.

AmazeWallet features

AmazeWallet acts as a gateway to AmazeChain. The wallet provides various features designed to offer users comprehensive access to the world of web3.

At its core, AmazeWallet actively transforms the web3 space by providing users with a secure, accessible, and enjoyable tool for easy navigation.

Here’s a list of the most interesting features offered by AmazeWallet.

Mobile mining

This allows users to participate in blockchain activities directly from their phones. By staking the native AMT tokens, users can help validate transactions or “blocks” on the AmazeChain. This process, which uses minimal battery power, earns users rewards in the form of additional tokens.

Self-custodial, multi-chain wallet

Users can securely store and manage their digital assets across 60+ different blockchain networks. This also includes the ability to exchange or “swap” tokens from one form to another within the wallet.

Mobile marketplace for NFTs

This feature allows users to create or “mint” their own Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) directly from their phones. NFTs can take various forms, including audio and video files, and represent a form of digital ownership.

P2P messaging

AmazeWallet includes a secure messaging system that allows for private, fully encrypted chats between friends. The messaging is quantum-resistant. This means it has been designed to withstand potential future cryptographic threats posed by quantum computing.

In-app swaps via 1inch

From launch, users can utilize 1inch, a decentralized exchange aggregator, to find the best trade prices across various crypto exchanges without ever leaving the app.

In-app mini-games

For a bit of fun and relaxation, the AmazeWallet app includes popular mini-games like Snake and Tetris.

Crypto news updates

AmazeWallet allows you to stay informed about the latest happenings in the world of crypto. This feature brings news updates from leading sources directly to the app so that you won’t miss out on any important updates.

What is AmazeToken (AMT)?

AMT token is the native token of AmazeWallet. This is the cryptocurrency of the AmazeChain, which launched its mainnet on June 28, 2023.

Users rely on it for various functions such as purchasing and selling non-fungible tokens (NFTs), covering transaction costs (known as ‘gas fees’), rewards, and staking if they decide to run a node.

During the Token Generation Event (TGE), a maximum supply of 200 million AMT tokens was created.

  • Mining 50% (Commercial mining 17.15% + Community mining 32.85%)
  • Foundation 28.13%
  • Community pool (rewards) 5.63%
  • Team 10% (locked 24 months)
  • Enterprise buyers 6.25% (locked 24-36 months)

AMT allocation: AmazeWallet

A total of 100,000,000 AMT tokens (50% of the maximum supply) must be mined. Users can mine AMT tokens through staking, a process that secures the blockchain network and validates all network transactions. These tokens will be used to support the utilities in the network infrastructure and ecosystem.

AmazeWallet users can mine tokens by becoming community miners (when they use mobile devices) or commercial miners (licenses must be purchased from the Amaze team). A preset number of AMT tokens can be mined each year. That number is halved every four years. The total minim period is 128 years.

The distribution of AMT tokens is directly tied to nodes in the network, meaning that the token issuance is tied to the number of transactions conducted on the AmazeChain network. AMT token is already listed on several crypto exchanges, such as Coinstore and BitMart, with more set to follow in the future.

After launching the AmazeChain mainnet, the team plans to launch a DAO and use AMT as a governance token. Token holders will be given control over future changes to the protocol and the ability to vote for updates.

To induce scarcity and reduce the AMT total supply, half of all AmazeChain transaction fees collected in AmazeToken (AMT) will be burned. The average cost per transaction is quite low, typically under $0.01. Remarkably, with just 100,000 nodes, the platform can handle over a million transactions per second.

What is AmazeChain?

AmazeChain is the blockchain network behind the AmazeWallet platform. It is designed to keep track of all activities within the AmazeWallet app, like buying and selling digital artwork or trading cryptocurrencies. It’s kind of like a high-tech ledger.

This particular blockchain – a ‘layer-1’ blockchain, is special because it uses the processing power of smartphones to handle transactions, check cryptographic proofs, and create new blocks in the chain (this is what the ‘mining feature’ in the app does).

AmazeChain is smart and adaptable, it can handle scripts written in common programming languages such as Java and C++, and it’s compatible with many protocols you might come across in the blockchain world, like UTXO, EVM, MOVE, and WASM.

AmazeChain transaction speed

What’s impressive about AmazeChain is its ability to handle a huge number of transactions very quickly (up to 300,000 per second under real-world conditions and even over a million per second under optimal conditions).

It achieves this impressive speed by using a layered architecture and parallel processing, which is like having many hands working on different parts of a task at the same time.

AmazeChain doesn’t use a lot of computational power, as is the case with some other blockchains. Instead, it relies on advanced cryptographic techniques and a specific type of proof known as ‘recursive zero-knowledge proofs’ for its operations. This allows ordinary smartphones to carry out calculations for millions of transactions quickly without causing the device to overheat or the battery to drain significantly.

The devices connected to the network, like your smartphone, act as nodes for verifying transactions. They earn transaction fees and rewards for their service, a process known as ‘mobile mining.’ The network considers a transaction valid when it receives a two-thirds vote in any given shard (a part of the network).

Even in case of large-scale disconnection issues, the system records the locally correct transactions and waits for final confirmation. This makes AmazeChain resilient and reliable.
