Crypto futures account for most activity on centralized exchanges, yet trading usually remains an individual pursuit. Exchanges are adding teams, leaderboards, and reward systems to create a shared competitive experience around derivatives.
Toobit is taking this approach into motorsport with the 2026 Toobit International Futures Tournament, known as TIFT. Registration opens on August 12, ahead of a campaign offering up to 3 million USDT through team and solo championships, task-based prize draws, early registration rewards, and social activities.
The racing theme arrives as Formula 1 continues to expand its global audience. Formula 1 reported 827 million fans in 2025, up 12% over the year, with 43% aged under 35. Crypto exchanges are pursuing digitally active audiences through campaigns designed around repeated participation and competition.
Futures Trading Enters the Paddock
Derivatives remain the main source of activity across centralized exchanges. Research reported $3.88 trillion in derivatives volume during June 2026, equal to 77.7% of combined centralized exchange trading activity.
CoinGecko recorded $12.7 trillion in perpetual trading volume across the ten largest centralized exchanges during the second quarter. Monthly volume remained above $4 trillion despite a 10% decline from the previous quarter.
Campaigns help exchanges concentrate this activity over a fixed period while encouraging users to explore several products. TIFT connects futures volume with deposits, spot trading, copy trading, event contracts, and yield products.
Early-bird registration runs from August 12 at 10:00 UTC until August 19 at 09:59 UTC. Participants can register and join a team until September 9 at 10:00 UTC, while the Team and Solo Championships run from August 19 until September 9.
Race to Victory, the campaign’s task-based section, remains open throughout the full period.
Ahead of the August 12 registration window, traders can explore the full campaign structure and prepare on the TIFT 2026 warm-up page.
Three Tracks for Different Kinds of Traders
Race to Victory uses three racing tracks tied to separate resource types:
- Street Sprint
- Turbo Challenge
- Nitro Grand Prix
Participants complete tasks to collect Fuel, Octane, or Nitro, with each resource opening prize draws on its corresponding track.
Street Sprint provides the entry route through beginner and daily tasks. Eligible activities include a first futures trade, a first spot trade, and a deposit of at least 30 USDT. Participants can also earn Fuel through copy trading, event contracts, selected investment products, and referrals.
Rewards include official F1 team caps and collectible card packs.
Turbo Challenge raises the thresholds for deposits, trading volume, and referrals. Participants collect Octane through higher daily activity across futures, spot trading, copy trading, and event contracts.
Rewards include official F1 clothing and LEGO racing car sets.
Nitro Grand Prix covers the highest activity levels. Participants earn Nitro by completing daily futures targets ranging from 500,000 USDT to 5 million USDT, while other tasks include making larger deposits and allocating to Earn, Futures Grid, or Futures DCA.
Rewards on the Nitro Grand Prix track include a trip to the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix with flights and accommodation, along with F1 clothing and collectibles.
The race takes place in October and will host its first Formula 1 Sprint weekend in 2026.
Six Teams Compete on P&L
TIFT adds a team competition alongside its individual volume ranking. Participants can choose among Turbo Titans, Volatility Raiders, Leverage Legends, Margin Mavericks, Apex Dominion, and Token Torque.
Each team carries its own racing identity and shareable artwork. The names correspond to different trading styles, including volatility-led activity, leverage strategies, and token trends.
The Team Championship ranks groups by the average profit and loss percentage of their ten highest-performing members. 30% of each team’s reward goes to its top ten traders. The remaining 70% is divided among qualifying members who generate at least 30,000 USDT in futures volume, subject to an individual cap of 2% of the team allocation from this portion.
Participants may change teams during the campaign, although switching erases the volume accumulated for the previous group.
The format combines performance near the top of the table with participation across the membership. Strong traders influence the final ranking, while active members help unlock and distribute the reward pool.
Unlocking the Prize Pool
The 3 million USDT figure represents the maximum campaign pool. Race to Victory receives up to 840,000 USDT, while the Team Championship and Solo Championship carry maximum allocations of 1.5 million USDT and 600,000 USDT.
Another 50,000 USDT supports early-bird rewards, while 10,000 USDT funds social sharing activities.
The team pool rises with total campaign futures volume. It begins at 60,000 USDT once participants collectively reach 200 million USDT and reaches the full 1.5 million USDT at 20 billion USDT.
The final team standings determine how the unlocked amount is divided. First place receives 25%, second place receives 22%, and third place receives 18%, with the remaining amount shared across the other three teams.
The Solo Championship ranks participants by total futures volume. Up to 300 traders can receive rewards, and each qualifying participant must generate at least 30,000 USDT during the competition period. Higher total campaign volume unlocks a larger pool.
Early-bird users have a lower entry threshold. Toobit has allocated 20,000 USDT for 10 USDT registration bonuses and another 30,000 USDT for users who exceed 30,000 USDT in futures volume. Both pools use first-come, first-served distribution.
A Shared Identity Through Racing
The racing concept gives Toobit a framework for teams, progression, and public competition. Formula 1 attracted 6.7 million race attendees in 2025, while the Las Vegas Grand Prix generated more than 450 million video views and 60 million digital interactions across its weekend.
TIFT applies similar competitive elements inside an exchange campaign. Participants choose a team, collect resources, follow rankings, and share progress as the event develops.
Via the Rev Up the Hype campaign on social media, users can receive a 20 USDT futures voucher for sharing their team affiliation, campaign progress, or results.
Reward systems are becoming common across derivatives platforms. CoinGecko noted several newer perpetual exchanges use points programmes while competing for market share. TIFT uses the same principle within a defined racing experience built around a one-month campaign.
Remember the Risks
The visual format may make participation feel closer to a game, while futures remain leveraged financial products. Higher leverage increases liquidation risk, and traders need to monitor margin requirements and collateral throughout each trade.
Leaderboards can also encourage higher activity and larger trades. Toobit has previously warned tournament participants against abandoning their usual risk controls while pursuing rankings.
Eligibility terms, therefore, play an important role. Market makers and subaccounts are excluded, while participants need at least 50 USDT in their futures account before entering the rankings. Rewards also depend on trading thresholds, campaign volume, regional eligibility, and risk reviews.
TIFT 2026 brings product tasks, team rivalry, futures volume, and social sharing into one campaign. Its results will provide an early measure of how well a connected racing experience can sustain participation across the full event.
