The incident has presently been resolved and stated it will increase the transaction fees on Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawals to ensure that they don’t happen again. It also stated that it was working on Bitcoin (BTC) Lightning Network withdrawals to ensure speedy withdrawals of the coin.

Ethereum Foundation Sold Ethereum Worth $30 million, Will It Affect The Price?

On the 6th of May, 2023, it was stated that the Ethereum foundation transferred Ethereum (ETH) worth $30 million to the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange.

The sale immediately had an impact as Ethereum (ETH) fell by 4.8% to $1,900 but has started recovery even though it is slow.

The price of the Ethereum (ETH) coin also appreciated to $1,920 the next day and is now at $1,800s. Investors are expecting the bullish market to push the Ethereum (ETH) coin to over $2,000 again.

This isn’t the first time that the Ethereum (ETH) coin was affected by a major sale as Ethereum (ETH) fell by 80% in November 2021 from $4,850 after 20,000 ETH was sold

The coin also fell in May 2021 from $3,500 after 35,053 ETH was sold.
