Professional Journey

Rachel has a distinguished career spanning over two decades in marketing, media, and entertainment. She began her career in advertising, working with global Fortune 500 brands and guiding legacy companies through digital transformations. Her strategic prowess was further displayed during her tenure at CAA Sports, a leading international sports and entertainment agency, where she managed Global Partnerships. At CAA Sports, Rachel developed innovative brand partnerships and cultural marketing programs, bridging global brands, rights holders, and talent.

Rachel’s exceptional leadership was also evident during her time as the Global Chief Marketing Officer for Havas, the sixth-largest communications company within the Vivendi conglomerate. She was entrusted with enhancing Havas’ reputation and revenue, crafting integrated marketing and experiential platforms for Fortune 500 companies that set industry benchmarks. In addition to her role as CMO, Rachel held various leadership positions at Havas, including Managing Director of Havas Luxhub and Global Growth Director. Her client portfolio included iconic brands like LVMH, PUIG, Sotheby’s, Net-a-Porter, Netjets, and Kit and Ace.

Crypto and Web3 Journey

Rachel’s journey into the crypto and Web3 space began during her time at CAA Sports, where she was introduced to the world of crypto through fintech and blockchain firms seeking to establish cultural programs. This experience ignited her passion for blockchain technology and its transformative potential. Rachel’s next significant role was at OKX, where she spearheaded brand and marketing initiatives, including the negotiation and launch of high-profile international partnerships with Manchester City F.C., McLaren Racing, and Tribeca Festival.

Rachel joined Binance two years ago, initially as the VP of Marketing, and quickly rose to the position of Chief Marketing Officer. At Binance, she has been instrumental in driving global marketing and brand campaigns, leveraging her extensive experience in traditional industries to shape her approach to marketing in the Web3 space. Rachel’s focus on data-driven strategies and community-driven initiatives has optimized user engagement and driven significant growth for Binance.

For instance, she led the launch of a program during Binance Blockchain Week 2023 in Istanbul, aimed at educating women on how to responsibly engage with crypto, with a goal to onboard 500 women by mid-2025. This initiative has already reached the halfway mark, empowering women to take control of their financial future. Rachel’s work at Binance also includes leveraging partnerships with influencers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to reach wider audiences and demystify crypto investments. 

Rachel’s dedication to using education to uplift communities and her work to onboard and empower women in the crypto space have significantly contributed to Binance’s reputation as a trusted and leading cryptocurrency brand.
