For the first time in Italian history, Parliament will host an event entirely dedicated to education on Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
The initiative, titled “Bitcoin: from Code to Economic Policy”, is promoted by the Parliamentary Intergroup on Digital Assets, Blockchain and Bitcoin and marks the official launch of a Parliamentary Task Force dedicated to the sector. The goal is to provide political actors with cultural and informational tools, without any immediate legislative intent.
The Task Force is led by Hon. Marcello Coppo, a Member of Parliament from Fratelli d’Italia, the party of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who has long been active in the field of crypto regulation and education.
