MACD

The MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) is an indicator used in technical analysis.

It is created by plotting three time series, which are the differences between short and long-term moving averages.

Since it is based on moving averages, it is a lagging indicator.

Bullish/bearish crosses and movements above and below the 0 line can be helpful in determining the beginning or end of the current trend.
