Polygon Labs develops Ethereum scaling solutions for Polygon protocols. Polygon Labs engages with other ecosystem developers to help make available scalable, affordable, secure and sustainable blockchain infrastructure for Web3. Polygon Labs has initially developed a growing suite of protocols for developers to gain easy access to major scaling solutions, including layer 2s (zero-knowledge rollups and optimistic rollups), sidechains, hybrid chains, app-specific chains, enterprise chains, and data availability protocols. Scaling solutions that Polygon Labs initially developed have seen widespread adoption with tens of thousands of decentralized apps, unique addresses exceeding 225 million, over 1.2 million smart contracts created and 2.56 billion total transactions processed since inception. The existing Polygon network is home for some of the biggest Web3 projects, such as Aave, Uniswap, and OpenSea, and well-known enterprises, including Robinhood, Stripe and Adobe. Polygon Labs is carbon neutral with the goal of leading Web3 in becoming carbon negative.
Job Summary
Your Responsibilities
šOwn key frontend experiences: Build clean, responsive, accessible interfaces that simplify complex financial functionality and delight users. šIntegrate third-party SDKs and APIs: Work with leading providers for onboarding, KYC/compliance flows, fiat on/off ramps, and payments. šContribute to robust backend infrastructure: Design and maintain services that support transaction execution, data flows, and secure user state. šCollaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product, design, and engineering peers to deliver end-to-end features with polish and performance. šArchitect for scale and security: Ensure the systems you build are performant, reliable, and meet the highest standards for security and quality. šIterate fast, ship often: Maintain high velocity while delivering production-quality, maintainable code.
What Youāll Need
š4+ years of full stack engineering experience, ideally in fintech or API-driven environments. šStrength in frontend development: Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or similar. šStrong proficiency with TypeScript and backend frameworks like Node.js, NestJS, or similar. šHands-on experience integrating third-party SDKs/APIs (e.g., payments, identity verification, compliance). šSolid knowledge of building secure, scalable backend services and RESTful APIs. šProven ability to write clean, maintainable, production-ready code in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
