Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities:
šAs a Team Lead you will be managing one of our multi-chapter feature teams to deliver features across our products šBe a scrum master for the team, leading and managing scrum rituals. šEnsuring smooth planning of the sprints, unblocking team members, ensuring fair play for both business and tech. sides of the team and stakeholders. šYour main responsibilities are going to be wellbeing and performance of the team šYou will be having regular 1-to-1s with all of the team members building trust between yourself and the team to ensure a stable and healthy work environment. šYou will be conducting the performance review and follow probation periods of your team members. šCare for the human behind each employee and seek for continuous personal growth and career progression. šLeading and empowering people with a servant leadership approach in mind while coaching them to fulfill their duties without impediments. šMaking sure that any personal or technical disputes are resolved before turning into conflicts between the members, be that of your team or across other teams. šMeet stakeholders to understand the āwhyā of the feature, to be able to better understand and guide team members on what is being built. šWork with (FE/BE/QA) Tech Leads, Product Owner and engineers of your team and train them in better communication and alignment šMaking sure that knowledge sharing in the team is actively promoted. šHelp maintain clear product backlog with User Stories following Definition of Ready and Definition of Done rules
Requirements:
šHave at least 3 year of experience in a similar role or at least 5 years of experience in either Frontend, Backend or QA senior engineering position with experience of mentoring people. šUnderstand and have a servant leadership attitude over full-time authoritarian leadership. šHave a good understanding of agile and scrum methodologies. šBe a leading figure that people are willing to listen to and follow in a team consisting of different nationalities, from different places around the world working remotely. šHave empathy toward your colleagues and team members. šHave very good verbal and written communication skills.
