In this role, you will need to be able to have: 📍Team Management and Leadership: 📍Build and lead a high-performing engineering team. 📍Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment among team members built on trust and companionship. 📍Foster transparent and open communication within the team to ensure alignment with company goals. 📍Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members. 📍Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. 📍Set performance goals and expectations for team members. 📍Address performance issues and implement improvement plans when necessary. 📍Identify opportunities to improve development processes and workflows. 📍Implement best practices for project management, coding standards, and quality assurance. 📍Project Management: 📍Develop project plans and schedules according to the product and technical roadmap. 📍Ensure efficient resource allocation to meet project goals and deadlines. 📍Identify potential risks and challenges in projects develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks. 📍Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues and risks as they arise. Ensure the project stakeholders are always up to date. 📍Ensure plans are aligned with other departments in the Company and act as the point of escalation for other departments. 📍Work with upper management to develop and manage budgets and TCO for engineering projects. 📍Communication: 📍Facilitate clear communication within the team and with other departments. 📍Represent the engineering team in cross-departmental meetings. 📍Collaborate with product management, design, and other departments to align goals and priorities. 📍Ensure seamless integration between engineering and other functional areas. 📍Recruitment and Hiring: 📍Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for engineering talent. 📍Identify and attract top technical talent to the team. 📍Conduct interviews together with other team members and provide input for hiring decisions.

Who We Are Looking For

📍Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 📍Excellent communication and collaboration skills 📍Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills 📍10+ years of experience in the software engineering domain 📍5+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams in 📍TradFi or Crypto trading domain 📍Good understanding of Agile frameworks and fundamentals, specifically Scrum
