Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šCollaborating with the engineering team and with the Starknet team to drive Paradex blockchain initiatives. Some examples of projects are : šWork with the blockchain engineers to develop creative solutions and design gas-efficient smart contract code to support the increasing system complexity (expanding the list of markets, options, portfolio margining, multi-collateral) šDesign a robust Escape Hatch solution for Paradex develop a robust escape hatch mechanism that ensures the safety of users' funds in emergency scenarios šDriving gas cost optimization initiatives and monitoring/modeling gas costs šDesign a mechanism for L2 data encryption to ensure tradersā data privacy šUsing proofs to verify complex off-chain calculations - For example instruments pricing and order matching šLead blockchain engineering discussions and make technology decisions related to product strategy and features. šWill write blog posts and whitepapers to develop awareness of our cutting edge products, tech stack and market
Requirements:
šMSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent field. šExperience working with complex software systems and with algorithms šArticulating the overall vision and breaking it down into clear products and features šIntroducing complex ideas in an approachable manner šDemonstrating leadership capabilities and high communication skills
