Hash Rate

In blockchain, a hash rate is the number of hash operations that are done in a certain period of time. It serves to measure the performance speed of a miner. In the logistics of cryptocurrency mining, the hash rate is an important factor that is often evaluated and discussed.

The most common measurement is called “hash per second”, which represents the number of times a block of information is converted to a hash.

On September 26, 2019, Bitcoin reached an all-time high rate of 108,464,285 trillion hashes per second.
