As reported by Innovation Enterprise, 600 executives across 15 territories were surveyed. 84 percent of that pool is currently working on a blockchain initiative and 25 percent claim they have already gone live with their projects.
However, mainstream adoption currently does not equate to mainstream acceptance in the executive sphere.
According to the report, blockchain technology is currently the most popular in the financial services industry — a fact which should surprise nobody.
The energy and utility sector is also reportedly hungry for the blockchain, as is the healthcare industry and industrial manufacturing.
