Oihyun Kim serves as East Asia Editor-in-Chief & Senior Correspondent at BeInCrypto, directing editorial strategy and content operations across English- and localized-regional platforms.
Throughout his 18-year journalism career, Oihyun has interviewed Korea’s key political figures, including current and former presidents. In the crypto space, he has engaged with executives from major companies such as Binance, Coinbase, and Upbit, as well as industry leaders from Ethereum, Solana, AAVE, and more.
A recognized authority in cryptocurrency journalism, Oihyun has authored seven books, including A History of Terra Project and A Guide to Korean Won Stablecoins. His expertise also extends to leadership studies and crisis management, with works profiling global figures such as baseball star Shohei Ohtani, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, and political leaders.
Before joining BeInCrypto, Oihyun served as a political correspondent for Hankyoreh and as Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs at the Blue House, Korea's Presidential Office.
