Haipo Yang Founder and CEO of ViaBTC

Haipo Yang, Founder and CEO of ViaBTC, graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2012 with a degree in mathematics. He began his career as a developer at Tencent Weibo and later FUTU, a Tencent-backed Hong Kong stock exchange. An early adopter and investor in Bitcoin, Haipo entered the crypto industry in 2013 and later led R&D at ZeusMiner, then a top-three global Scrypt miner. In April 2016, he founded ViaBTC, releasing its initial Bitcoin mining pool after just two months of development, marking the official launch and start of the team’s expansion.
