Austin Heaton is the Head of Content at Rise, where he leads strategic content initiatives at the intersection of inbound marketing and Web3. With over 11 years of experience in inbound marketing and more than 5 years immersed in the Web3 space, Austin brings a unique blend of technical expertise and market insight. A self-described Bitcoin and Solana maxi, he also has a deep appreciation for stablecoins and their role in the evolving digital economy. Before joining Rise, Austin built a career bridging traditional marketing and decentralized technologies, drawing on his academic background in Marketing from UC Berkeley. Fluent in Russian and based in Belgrade, Serbia, he offers a rare global perspective, having spent half his life in the United States and the other half in Eastern Europe. Outside of work, Austin is passionate about Olympic weightlifting and playing chess, pursuits that reflect his discipline and strategic mindset.
