ApeCoin price prediction: The coin on everyone’s lips is predicted to hit $27 at the end of 2022. This is according to Finder’s panel of fintech industry specialists.

Dimitrios Salampasis is a FinTech lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology. He’s among the most bullish on Apecoin’s ($APE) end-of-year price. His prediction is $45. Alas. He says it will be worth $10 by 2030.

“The current hype of NFTs is impacting the price of ApeCoin. I am of the opinion that all these overhyped crypto assets will gradually disappear and lose their value because their utility potentialities are trivial.”

Salampasis thinks now is the time to sell APE. A third of his fellow panelists think it is time to hold APE. The remaining panelists 17% think it is time to buy.

Fred Schebesta, Co-founder of Finder, gave a forecast below the panel average. He expects APE to be worth $20 at the end of 2022. But he thinks going forward, ApeCoin will hit the $50 mark by the end of 2025. And then in 2030, hit $100.

“I think the founders of APE have high intentions to put APE to use. Probably not to buy land (as expected), but other things like buying merch when owning an ape is what it will be used for.”

ApeCoin price prediction average

The panel thinks APE will increase by the end of 2022. On average they predict it to be worth $27 by the end of 2025. This is before rising again to $35 in 2030.

Joseph Raczynski, Thomson Reuters technologist and futurist, says APE could be “absolutely humongous.” He is predicting the price will hit $100 by 2030.

“Yuga Labs are the blue-chip of NFTs now that they purchased CryptoPunks. Their ecosystem, using APE, has the potential to be a game-changer for the Metaverse. They are all about community and this one is doing all the right things at the moment.”

Doubters in the house

Matthew Harry, Head of Funds at DigitalX Asset Management, agrees with Salampasis. He predicts that APE’s value is based on hype. He has a 2030 price prediction of $0.

“…it looks to be an obvious play on the currently hyped themes of DAO’s, Web3 and BAYC/Degen. We have seen a thousand iterations of hypecoins designed to bring fresh retail capital into the space and not deliver.”

75% of the panel think APE will become “another memecoin.” 20% think it has future utility.
