DWF Labs previously invested $2 million into AirDAO in September 2022. The latest investment by DWF Labs comes with a one-year cliff and a 36-month vesting schedule. Linked to the $7.5 million investment, DWF Labs has received a loan of 1.5b AMB from AirDAO, also over 3 years.
The investment marks a continuation and expansion of AirDAO’s alliance with DWF Labs. AirDAO will receive a combination of investment and marketing support from DWF Labs, ensuring a healthy long-term partnership that will benefit AirDAO’s global community.
The investment from DWF Labs will accelerate the development of AirDAO’s governance roadmap and ensure AirDAO can deliver this alongside its existing product strategy. The partnership also opens up opportunities for AirDAO to expand in Southeast Asia and Africa. AirDAO will also hire a team of specialists to build out its builder proposition and drive talent toward its growing ecosystem.
AirDAO will also be dedicating a significant amount towards growing its brand presence globally, with an extensive operational runway to bring on board the next generations of AirDAO users. DWF Labs will also use its vast network to extend AirDAO’s presence in local regions such as Turkey, where AirDAO and DWF Labs will jointly host a networking event at the fringes of Binance Blockchain Week in November 2023.
AirDAO will also receive DWF Ecosystem support to continue to tap into DWF Labs portfolio companies to explore collaboration and development opportunities.
