XT brings selected Hyperliquid trader profiles and proportional copying into an exchange account, giving users a route from observing activity to following it.
Hyperliquid’s on-chain activity gives observers a window into how traders position themselves. That visibility can make a strategy worth investigating. Following it is a further task: positions change, the observer’s capital differs from the lead trader’s, and each copied decision needs a route to execution.
XT Exchange’s Hyperliquid Smart Money Copy Trading connects selected Hyperliquid trader profiles with copying inside an XT account. Eligible users can review a profile, choose an allocation, and follow eligible activity without bridging assets to Hyperliquid, managing private keys, or interacting directly with smart contracts. Funds and copied trades remain within XT’s platform.
This gives an exchange user a way to act on an interest in a selected trader without building a separate on-chain trading workflow. Once copying is active, the system handles eligible orders as the lead trader’s activity changes. The follower can spend less effort reproducing each order and more attention on whether the strategy still fits the allocation made to it.
Proportional sizing connects the two accounts. The copied trade uses the lead trader’s capital proportion rather than the same absolute order amount, while following the lead trader’s leverage and margin mode. A smaller account can therefore follow relative allocations without attempting to match the lead account’s order value. The leverage used by the lead trader remains part of the risk accepted by the follower.
The point at which someone joins can still change the economics. If a user chooses to copy a position already open, the order executes at the available market price rather than the lead trader’s original entry. A follower arriving after a substantial move has a different starting point, even when both positions face the same direction.
That is why copying a strategy does not reproduce a past result. Entry timing, execution prices, funding, and fees can all affect what the follower receives. The visible history informs the choice of whom to follow; it does not determine the outcome of the new allocation.
Users retain controls over the copy relationship, including allocation, a portfolio-level stop loss and the option to stop copying. Those controls operate under execution conditions, and a stop loss cannot guarantee an exact exit price. Copied futures remain exposed to losses and liquidation, as well as exchange custody and access risks.
By bringing these strategies into its account environment, XT Exchange connects on-chain trader discovery with a form of participation its users can manage in one place. The follower still has a consequential job: deciding whether the selected trader’s behavior continues to justify the capital committed. Copying can carry out the repeated orders; that judgment needs to continue after the first one.
