Women in Blockchain Talks, the UK’s leading diversity-driven blockchain education and networking ecosystem, has launched a weekly Twitter Spaces series dubbed “Spotlighting A Few, Creating Space For All” alongside Into the Metaverse (ITMV.io).

The Twitter Space is designed to spotlight female community leaders in blockchain Web3, as well as any other diversity and inclusivity-focused projects. The Space has been launched to tackle diversity issues in the blockchain space – at a time when the tech sector is criticized for only having a 19% female workforce, blockchain is celebrating a smaller increase from 8% to 12%.

The weekly event will be hosted by Laila Berjaw, Social Media Manager of Women in Blockchain Talks and Chloe Davis, Web3 Consultant from Into the Metaverse (ITMV), a Web3 agency that specializes in curating experiences and developing bespoke web3 projects for the metaverse.

The event is sponsored by Be In Crypto, as WiBT continue their collaboration with them to create different access points for women to learn and leverage the crypto / web3 space.

WiBT’s weekly Twitter Spaces runs every Wednesday at 9 PM BST / 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST via the WiBT twitter account.

CEO and Co-founder of ITMV Alexander Golombeck said, ”I am incredibly excited to partner with WIBT to help grow the community and work closely with Lavinia on the important work she is doing within the Web3 space.”

Lavinia D Osbourne, Founder and Host of WiBT added: “Partnerships are core to building and creating change, which is why working with organizations like BeiNCrypto and ITMV are so important. This Twitter Space will allow us to create more awareness and pathways for people from a diverse or minority background to not only collaborate with each other but enter Blockchain and Web3 and make their difference.”
