Twitter Outage Prevents Crypto Analysts From Uploading Charts

Twitter, the platform that became the breeding ground for the cryptocurrency community, is experiencing an outage — preventing analysts from posting charts or media.

Tweetdeck is having some technical issues that are directly impacting all of Twitter and its users. Users aren’t seeing new direct messages at the moment or may have trouble adding extra media to tweets like images, videos, and polls.

In a tweet, the company said it is aware of the issues and is currently working on a fix and that things “should be back to normal soon.”

Until then, ‘Crypto Twitter’ is hamstrung as analysts aren’t able to publish charts — and have to limit themselves to the 280-characters space.

The platform has become the preferred social network for cryptocurrency enthusiasts — with many sharing ideas, debating products and posting trading charts and set-ups.

Crypto Twitter allowed a lot of people to keep their privacy while gaining influence in the community, as the cryptocurrency industry grows.

At the same time, the social network made the connection with high profile names in the space much easier — with Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao or BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes often engaging with the community.

At this point, it seems to be the platform to be on when the topic of discussion is around the cryptocurrency industry. However, issues like today seriously hamper communication.
