Crypto Twitter allowed a lot of people to keep their privacy while gaining influence in the community, as the cryptocurrency industry grows. At the same time, the social network made the connection with high profile names in the space much easier — with Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao or BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes often engaging with the community. At this point, it seems to be the platform to be on when the topic of discussion is around the cryptocurrency industry. However, issues like today seriously hamper communication.
