The University of Tokyo, through the support of six Asia-Pacific companies, is going to have a free Blockchain course.
The Ethereum Foundation will provide information-based support throughout the entirety of the course — as documented by Sumitomo Mitsui, one of the participating companies.
The University has been financed with ¥90 million, or approximately US$800.000, in donations from these companies — an amount which will be used to develop the course and keep it on campus for three years.
The six financing companies are:
- Good Luck Three Co., Ltd.
- JSS Corporation
- Zipper
- Hotlink Co., Ltd.
- Money Forward Inc.
- Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc
