Shimmer, the new network and token to advance major innovations of IOTA, is giving away 1,800,000 of its $SMR tokens in its Treasures of Shimmer testnet campaign. Launching on May 3, 2023, and lasting 2 weeks.
Treasures of Shimmer gives dApp developers and their fans the opportunity to earn a share of the tokens through two exciting activities, Test & Earn and Play & Earn, on the recently launched ShimmerEVM testnet.
Hosted by the Tangle Ecosystem Association, the campaign is a stress test to find any bugs or potential improvements in the network before its official full release.
Treasures of Shimmer allows dApp developers to test their integrations and services. Meanwhile, users are incentivized to take an early look and be rewarded for their time.
- For dApp developers: In Test & Earn, 1,300,000 SMR tokens will be claimed by participating dApps deployed on the Shimmer testnet. Bounties will be distributed according to generated smart contract activity and shared at the project’s discretion with their users that have tested the projects. - For users: In Play & Earn, 500,000 SMR tokens are up for grabs by social media fans who complete special tasks hosted by Zealy (formerly Crew3).
