As the first NFT cross-chain infrastructure suitable for Metaverse needs, Rangers Protocol has raised $3.7 million and is valued at $63 million.
At the Global DeFi Summit hosted by the blockchain venture studio Draper Goren Holm on May 24th, 2021, Mary Ma, the co-founder of Rangers Protocol, announced that users would be able to try out the Rangers Protocol testnet in mid-July.
Rangers Protocol is a blockchain infrastructure incubated by blockchain game distribution alliance MixMarvel. As Mary Ma has stated, Rangers Protocol is committed to making the blockchain world no longer fragmented and making the Metaverse truly visible to humanity. After launching the testnet, Rangers Protocol will have dApps hosted on its network, and more information on the matter will be released after the deployment.
“Rangers Protocol is the backbreaking work of our team,” Mary Ma said. “In the past three years, we have solved many problems by tackling down tons of technical problems. Finally, here comes Rangers Protocol. Now it is time to show the world what we are made of. We hope that all developers or eventually anyone can come and try Rangers Protocol. It will be an entirely different experience. But of course, there is no way we could finish this whole project by ourselves, big applause to investors for seeing what we see,” Mary Ma added.
Rangers Protocol has received $3.7 million in its seed and private equity rounds. Investment institutions included Pantera, Framework Ventures, Alameda Research, Hashkey Capital, SevenX Ventures, SNZ, Spark Digital Capital, and more. These investments will be used for the next stage of Rangers Protocol’s technology development and the construction of ecological communities and the foundation. After the two rounds of financing, Rangers Protocol’s valuation reached $63 million.
