Michael Rihani is Head of Crypto at Nubank, one of the world's largest digital financial services platforms, where he drives the growth of Nubank Crypto, the in-app platform that lets customers buy, sell, and store digital assets. A product leader with over 15 years of experience building and scaling consumer financial products globally, he has dedicated his career to bitcoin and improving the world's financial system. Before Nubank, Rihani served as Director of Product at Coinbase, leading transfers, payments, and the debit and credit card businesses, where he launched nearly $1 billion in Bitcoin-backed loans. Earlier, he was Crypto Product Lead at Block's Cash App, worked with Elon Musk at Tesla to enable bitcoin payments on the company's website, and played a key role at Apple on flagship products including Apple Pay on the Web, Apple Card, and Apple Cash. He holds a degree from Virginia Tech and is based in Palo Alto.
