About
Bruno is Head of Emerging Technologies and Digital Assets at Banco Inter, Brazil's first digital bank, where he leads the institution's blockchain and digital asset strategy. With over 25 years in technology and involvement with blockchain since 2017, he is a recognized voice in blockchain, AI, DREX/CBDC, and quantum computing, driving Banco Inter's participation in Brazil's DREX CBDC project alongside partners such as Chainlink and Microsoft, with use cases spanning tokenized government bonds, credit card receivables tokenization, and trade finance. Before leading digital assets, Grossi held multiple engineering and architecture roles within Inter, including Senior Software Architect on the Platform team, working with Java, GraalVM, Micronaut, Spring, Go, and Kafka to support the bank's commercial lending activities. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Software Architect at CI&T, contributing to a global e-commerce project for Anheuser-Busch InBev; a Senior Software Engineer at DTI Digital on projects for companies like Localiza and Pottencial Seguradora; and Head of Information Technology at Samba Tech, a leading Latin American online video distributor. He is based in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
