Not only that but Tweeting itself seems to be affected, while the TweetDeck seems to be down. At this time, it remains unknown what caused the problems, and whether it is a technical issue or an attack.
Twitter Support announced that Twitter and TweetDeck have been experiencing outages on a massive scale and that the team is working on fixing the problem. So far, there was no mention of any kind of foul play, although the possibility should not be written off until the company announces additional details.
Twitter has its fair share of problems and areas in which it lacks, as its community is more than happy to mention when issues such as this emerge and affect the platform.
