Job Summary
Responsibilities
šSupport the implementation of operational compliance requirements for the UAE business; šAssist with regulatory and supervisory audits; šManage and review assigned cases, providing guidance to relevant stakeholders on the next steps. - Conduct detailed investigations of suspicious activities and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs); šEnsure that all the policies/procedures are updated in accordance with the VARAās regulatory requirements; šMaintain an escalation log, ensuring all escalations to the team are promptly reviewed and resolved; šTimely review of Suspicious Activity escalations; šEnsure operational excellence for ongoing compliance tasks; šAssist with the periodic review of compliance-related procedures; šIdentify, highlight, and manage compliance risks, findings, and recommendations identified internally or externally, by independent reviews or examinations; šPerform any other duties and responsibilities required to ensure all Crypto.com companies do so in accordance with local regulations.
Requirements
šMinimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in financial services regulatory compliance, ideally with a strong focus on FinTechs, start-ups, and Virtual Asset ecosystems; šKnowledge of AML/CFT law(s) and regulation(s), including international standards (e.g., FATF: Recommendations, Immediate Outcomes, the various VA-related Guidelines (if and where applicable)); šExperience in regulatory reporting, leading internal/external audits, and regulatory supervisory risk assessments; SAR writing experience; šPossess a solid understanding of local laws, directives, regulations, and applicable standards; šExperience with SDD, CDD, EDD, etc; šMust be able to perform independently and with minimal supervision
