After Google’s announcement that its cloud gaming service, Stadia, will see the launch on November 19th, many preordered it with hopes of being able to access it right away. New information indicates that this might not be the case.
Back when Google
announced plans to launch its cloud gaming service, Stadia, a lot of people around the world got excited by the idea. Many gaming fans even paid $130, hoping to get early access by purchasing Founder’s Edition. The hype rose even more when Google announced that the service would see the launch on November 19th, 2019, and those who paid for Founder’s Edition expected to get early access.

However, Google’s newest announcement stated that it is replacing the sold-out Founder’s Edition with another one, called Premiere Edition. This has brought quite a few concerns, with fans wondering if the Premiere Edition will allow them to access the service as soon as it launches.
Google then shocked everyone by stating that neither of the two sets’ owners would be able to play as soon as the service launches since Google will be shipping out kits on a first-come, first-served basis. Furthermore, it seems that Premiere Edition won’t even be sent off by the time Stadia sees the launch.
Google also vaguely mentioned this issue in a post from last week, where it states that Founder’s Editions will only start arriving on November 19th, meaning that only the very first orders might be delivered in time for their new owners to access the service immediately after launch.

In other words, those who were not too quick with their orders will simply have to have to wait for them to arrive a few days longer. Of course, Google expects that all Founder’s Editions and Premiere Editions will arrive shortly, most likely within the first two weeks from the moment of launch.
