Elon Musk has announced the launch of an AI Chatbot, ‘Grok,’ under his AI company xAI, which promises to go above and beyond for its users.

“It will also answer spicy questions that are rejected by most other AI systems,” the statement noted.

Elon Musk: Grok AI Not for the Faint of Heart

A recent statement indicates that Grok is unrestricted and will continue to expand its capabilities as users become increasingly accustomed to chatbots in recent times:

“Grok is designed to answer questions with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak, so please don’t use it if you hate humor!”

The statement claims that they designed Grok to answer a wide range of queries. This implies a critique of other AI chatbots that impose limitations due to presumed safety concerns.

It was also noted that the AI chatbot has received only two months of training, and it is anticipated to improve as users contribute to its training at an accelerated pace.

“Grok is still a very early beta product – the best we could do with 2 months of training – so expect it to improve rapidly with each passing week with your help.”

AI Chatbots Affecting Job Opportunities

AI chatbots are gaining widespread popularity. Recent research suggests that African language chatbots may soon emerge as their popularity rises globally.

This coincides with recent reports highlighting the increasing influence of AI chatbots on job prospects.

On October 17, Stack Overflow, a coding help forum, announced a 28% reduction in its workforce. This is despite significant hiring efforts last year. It also reflects its struggle for profitability amid the surge of generative AI technologies.

The rise of AI chatbots offering coding assistance has, in turn, hindered Stack Overflow’s business model.
