Welcome to the US Crypto News Morning Briefing—your essential rundown of the most important developments in crypto for the day ahead.
Grab a coffee for an intriguing read. An early crypto voice is back with another bold prediction. His forecast adds to a growing list of Bitcoin (BTC) maxis who remain optimistic about the pioneer crypto in the coming months and years.
Crypto News of the Day: Bitcoin’s $100 Caller Predicts $500,000 by 2023
Over a decade ago, Davinci Jeremie urged viewers to spare just a dollar to buy Bitcoin. Now, after watching Bitcoin skyrocket from obscurity to dominance, he’s forecasting an even bigger milestone ahead. According to Jeremie, Bitcoin price could reach $500,000 per BTC before 2030.
As of this writing, Bitcoin was trading for $116,958. If Jeremie’s forecast is accurate, then the BTC price could soar by over 327% in the next five years.
In 2013, Jeremie made a YouTube video, urging his audience to buy at least $1 worth of Bitcoin.
“If you want to become wealthy in the future, I suggest you take $1, buy some Bitcoins, and put it in a wallet,” he said.
Since then, Bitcoin has surged by over 90,500% from its May 2013 price of around $119,000.
At the time, Jeremie’s appeal went beyond financial advice. Rather, it was philosophical, with the Bitcoin maxi calling the pioneer crypto a “freedom provider” that could eventually escape control by powerful elites.
Jeremie highlighted Bitcoin’s deeper value beyond speculation, mentioning escrow, bonded contracts, multi-signature wallets, and decentralized derivatives as core protocol features.
He also drew comparisons to the early internet, articulating that most people were underestimating Bitcoin’s transformative potential.
More interestingly, Davinci Jeremie also predicted Bitcoin could eventually be worth a million dollars, just from inflation.
However, the crypto educator also expressed cognizance that most people would still not act on his advice, even though it required minimal risk.
“Just buy one freaking dollar… put it in a goddamn wallet… If it goes to zero, who cares? It’s just a dollar,” he added.
Fast-forward 12 years, Jeremie’s forecast accentuates that of private sector forecasters like Geoff Kendrick, Head of Digital Assets Research at Standard Chartered.
Kendrick told BeInCrypto in a recent US Crypto News publication that Bitcoin could hit $200,000 by the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025.
Beyond Kendrick and Jeremie, Bitcoin maxi Max Keiser is also overly bullish on BTC, projecting $500,000 per coin.
As reported in a recent US Crypto News publication, the Bitcoin pioneer pegged his target to rising global bond yields, which he said signal fiat collapse and institutional influx.
