A luxury spa & resort hotel in Limassol Parklane gathered the brightest and most influential minds in the crypto space on May 4-5.

Parklane became a meeting point for the world’s most disruptive fintech trends. The event gathered 700+ entrepreneurs, traders, investors, developers, and industry enthusiasts.

There were six panels, numerous on-site interviews, an expert conference program, and transformational workshops to explore the transforming role of blockchain, GameFi, NFT, and more. Renowned speakers from blockchain and digital asset companies shared their stories and insights on the market and its prospects.

The honor to be the most debated topic belonged to NFTs and GameFi. The discussion of brands in the Metaverse and greater customer experience through its NFT minting platform with the CEO and COO at BLOCK.CO Alexis Nicolaou and George Agathangelou have been the ones to capture the attention at the conference.

NFT&GameFi theme was extended by Founder of iLogos Alexander Goldybin. A practical approach to investing with an emphasis on DeFi and market-neutral (non-speculative) strategies was exhaustively examined by Director at DCM Group Alexander Douedari.

NFTs beyond the hype with Ecosystem Manager at VeChain Tech Dimitris Neocleous and NFTs and gamification as the future of community engagement within Web3 with Сrypto-entrepreneur Eloisa Marchesoni had added a fresh perspective on the issue.

Head of Financial Regulation & Advisory at AGP Law Firm Mihaela Grigoriou gave effect to the Blockchain Fest by speech devoted to Regulation of DeFi-CeFi as well as CEO of European Digital Assets Exchange Mauro Andriotto sharing state of art Security and token legislation.

The culmination of the event started on the 2nd day between 12:20 and 13:00 with the panel discussion Banking in 2022: Banks Vs Crypto. Institutional Partnerships Manager at the University of Nicosia (UNIC) Nick Assimentos, Director Group Compliance Division at Bank of Cyprus Marios M. Skandalis and Deputy Director General & Head of HQ Unit at Invest Cyprus Marios Tannousis tried to find out the patterns of crypto evolving process and came to the conclusion that banks are not against crypto but their arms are titled by regulations outside.

A new addition to the program was brought by Founder & CEO at Christiana Aristidou LLC Christiana. Aristidou introduced the topic on How tokens transform Cyprus Real Estate.

Blockchain Fest 2022 strengthened its reputation as the main crypto event in Cyprus by bringing industry trends and cutting-edge news.

The event should now serve as a pivotal point for the convergence of modern finance, fintech, blockchain, and digital assets, ushering in a new era of business and economic growth on the site of the European financial hub for all crypto lovers.
