TimeDAO is officially launching the $TDAO token pre-seed sale to boost the platform’s development of decentralized apps with time-locking features. The token is currently for sale at $0.065 — and available in 195 bundles each worth 250$ — ultimately selling for $0.13 in December during the public sale.
TimeDAO powers TimeApps, a new series of Dapps enabling transmission through time. Two applications have been developed, yet remain unavailable to the general public. First is the TimeCapsule, which lets users send any type of digital file into the future at pre-selected dates. Second is the TimeWallet, which enables users to send various cryptocurrencies potentially decades into the future.
During the first trials, TimeDAO successfully sent Satoshis into the future for the first time in history. For one week, TimeDAO succeeded in locking Bitcoin using the TimeWallet Dapp, accessing the cryptocurrency seven days later. This accomplishment not only confirms the functionality of the TimeApp, but also enables a new groundbreaking feature: the power of sending money in time without relying on centralized entities.
Additionally, TimeDAO plans to integrate TimeApps into physical objects using NFC technology with worldwide retail distribution by Q4 2022. Therefore, the general public will be able to buy valuable objects such as jewelry that can store encrypted pictures, videos, music, and cryptocurrency.
Friday, September 24, marks the beginning of TimeDAO’s pre-seed sale, the first of four funding rounds, totaling a hard cap of $2.5M. TimeDAO will grant participants access to this exclusive sale of the $TDAO token in bundles, also described as tickets. Investors can purchase a maximum of two tickets out of the exclusively available 195, allowing for a total individual investment of $500 by email registration on the website.
