NIGHT, the native token of the Midnight network, will be distributed in a multi-phased event, starting with their airdrop, called Glacier Drop. Midnight is a Layer-1 blockchain, currently in its testnet phase, designed with a strong focus on protecting personal and commercial data. The NIGHT token distribution will occur across three claim phases, including a redemption period to ensure a broad range of users have multiple opportunities to participate. Below is a breakdown of each phase:

How to redeem NIGHT allocation:
- Go to the NIGHT Claim Portal and enter your wallet address.
- Your address will be eligible for the Glacier Drop if, at the time of the snapshot, it held a minimum balance of qualifying tokens worth ≥ $100.
- Currently, the date and time of the snapshot have not been disclosed.
- Enter a destination address.
- Your destination address is the wallet where your claimed NIGHT allocation will be sent.
- For the Glacier Drop and Scavenger Mine claim phases, the destination address must be a Cardano address and must be unused (i.e., no transaction history).
- One destination address may be used for multiple NIGHT claims during the first two claim phases.
- Accept the token distribution terms and sign your unique claim message to complete the claim.
- Wait for your allocation to unlock and redeem your NIGHT tokens.
- Allocations unlock in four equal 25% installments over 360 days. The first unlock occurs randomly between days 1–90, with the next every 90 days.
- Each redemption requires a small ADA network fee.
